Collection: Chairs

Seating shapes how a room can be used. Chairs at Office Goods Australia brings desk chairs, folding meeting seats, stools, lounge-style options and chair cushions into one place for work, short visits and breaks. Set up a chair for a daily computer station, keep an extra seat ready when people gather or refresh a familiar chair with a pad. Let the way people use the room guide the seat you bring into it.

Build the everyday work position

High-back, mesh and swivel office chairs cover different ways to sit at a desk, with some designs adding headrests, armrests or a footrest. A gaming-style chair offers another silhouette for a computer setup. Where space is shared, a folding chair can come out for a meeting and go away afterwards. Start with how long the seat will be used and whether it stays in one place or must move between people.

Make room for shorter stops

Rolling stools, wooden stools and compact plastic seats suit shorter tasks or rooms that need a smaller footprint. A folding recliner, nap bed or picnic chair changes the pace toward a rest rather than focused desk work. These formats can make a spare corner or break area useful without repeating the same office chair across every part of the room.

Work with the chair you own

Memory foam and gel seat cushions, lumbar pillows, mesh back supports and removable covers offer ways to change an existing seat. They have a different purpose from buying another full chair: a small change to the contact surface, back or appearance may be enough for the space you are arranging. Put the working seat, occasional seat and accessories together around how the room is actually lived in.
