Collection: Chair Cushions & Pads

The chair may already be in the right place; what you want to change is how it feels when you sit down. Chair Cushions & Pads at Office Goods Australia brings together seat cushions, lumbar pillows, back supports and softer covers for office chairs and other everyday seats. Add a pad to a firm surface, place a lumbar cushion behind you or use a washable cover to change the look of a dining chair. These are ways to make an existing seat more inviting without replacing the whole chair.

Choose the surface you sit on

Memory foam cushions include flat and U-shaped designs, while gel honeycomb pads offer a different feel and pattern of contact. A simple square chair pad keeps the change subtle, and a plush floor cushion suits a more casual spot. The shapes are not interchangeable in every seat: a wider office chair, a dining chair and a car seat leave different space for a pad. Begin with the chair you use and the feeling you want from the surface beneath you.

Change the support behind you

Lumbar pillows, a cylindrical cushion with a strap and mesh back supports sit between your back and the chair. They can be moved or adjusted as the seat and task change, unlike a fixed chair back. A removable stretch cover serves a different purpose, refreshing the look and touch of a dining seat. Small additions can help a familiar chair feel better suited to a long work session, a meal or a quiet reading corner.
